Aquarium Advice Regular
I had a couple of 10g tanks and made 3-d cement backgrounds for them. With the one tank I have been doing water changes 2x daily for the past 2 weeks and I am still getting high 8.8+ levels but it's taking longer to get to those levels. The second background I have been spraying it down with water 2-3x a day and when I filled the tank with it in I have been getting 8.0 and holding steady. With no water changes.
My question is why not just spray the backgrounds like I did instead of doing major water changes? This would save a lot of time and water in the bigger tanks. Is there something I am missing here?
