Macro algea

I was wondering if scroll algea would be suitable for my tank. I have only 2 watts per gallon though. I was also wondering if positioning the algea very close to the lights would support it better since, theoretically the light should be way more intense.

If your light is not strong enough, then yes, placing the algae closer to the surface of the water where the light is more intense, would be a good idea.

So, do you think it will do well up toward the surface, under my 48watt t5ho light
