Ive had an Emperor 280 for years now but want something better. Thinking about the Marineland Multistage Canister 360 (Canister Filters: Marineland C-Series Multi-Stage Canister Filters). Any opinions on it? Also, there are 4 trays. Which types of media should go in it? Ive heard the bio balls aren't that great. That leaves carbon bags, corse foam, ceramic rings, and polishing pads. What is the maintenence schedule like for a canister like this? Change everything every 3 weeks or so? Thanks in advance!

I have a marineland c-530 which is in the same model line that you are talking about, Works great IMO. i have ceramic rings 2 sponges and polishing pads in mine.
