micro sword question!!

Folks,
Whats the correct way to spead out a micro sword so it propagetes into a "high" Lawn? I have it planted now in a clump as it came from a potted plant. Thanks
BTW--I had Riccia attached through a fine plastic mesh on a piece of slate--It looked great!! But as u all mentioned it grew out and floated to the top!! I didnt give it the required haircuts!!

high light, nutrient rich substrate, and some tweezers to encourage it where to grow. Lower light tanks are difficult to grow lilaeopsis in a carpet effect.

switch to sags or hair grass lol its a low growing plant for me other options that need less light same effect and grow faster.

Thanks folks--I have 2.3wpg (2x65w-9hrs) but your correct--they are soooooooo slow growing!!
