10 gallon tank
4 Guppies
3 Black Mollies
2 Chinese algae eaters.

I know its overstocked but my ammonia is still climbing, I did a fishless cycle by the book, but a few days after i got my mollies my ammonia started to spike is there any way i can get it to go down? Will i have to get rid of the mollies?

Been doing 25-50% water changes everyday and the ammonia still isnt going down.

And i'm afraid the frequent water changes is effecting my PH as well

Todays readings
Ammonia - 1.0ppm
Nitrite - 0ppm
Nitrate - 20ppm
PH - 6.3

And that was a few hours after a 50% water change.

I would continue with the 50% water changes once or even twice a day. If you dont the ammonia will eventually kill the fish.

The mollies and the algae eaters are going to be to big for that tank. I would think about returning them. I agree 50% + changes daily until the cycle gets reestablished.
