Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hello all,
I just got my first ever fish tank. I got 10 gallon tank, filter, thermometer, 10lbs gravel, and some decorations in there. Its been 36 hours almost with all the setup above and filter running. I didn't add any fish yet. I want to start with 2-3 male guppies and then after week or 2 add 2-3 platies. The temperature in my tank is about 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit without heater. Will the guppies survive in this temperature? I also want to add 3-4 red/yellow shrimps but I dont want them to breed, and dont know where to buy these.
Please advice with any tips/suggestions considering me a complete beginner in this hobby.
PS: I am already falling in love with the little basic tank I have.
