I noticed in my snail tank that theres little white things on the sides of the tanks, they didn't appear to move or do anything, but they look like little white lines about 3mm long...

Now, the tank is full of algae, intentionally for feeding the snails, and I often leave the light on for it to develop, but I'm just a little curious as to what the white things could be.... :?

If I remember to, I'll get a picture of the tank this evening...

likely eggs. Get a pic of the snail when you get a pic of the spots.

Definately not eggs, I've seen the several clutches the snails have dotted about all over the tank, I stared at some of the white things for a little while and I think they may be Planeria as they were moving in a wormlike manner, so they are probably from my overdoing it with the food to get the Algae growing...

Unfortunately, my camera wouldn't focus on the snails, but they're nothing fancy, just pondsnails...

And I know, I need to replace my thermometer!!!

Apparently they are just like algae and pop up from nowhere. Live plants maybe?

Very strange... 8O

As for the algae, I know exactly where tat came from, it was on the back of the old snail I plopped into my mum's little fishRfun tank, I thought that the fish had pecked it all off, but I was wrong...
