Opinions on this tank stocking idea?

29 gallon tank with:
6 Platies
10 Glowlight Tetras
10 Cherry Shrimp
2 Nerite Snails

Sounds like a lot, but AqAdvisor said it was good and barely near full. Here's the AqAdvisor link. See if it's correct.

It's the shrimp and the snails that make it seem like a lot, but in reality they only need a few gallons. Your plan seems good otherwise, it's always good to be safe and slightly understock with live bearers like platys since they often reproduce. Good luck with your tank!

Oh, I'm now reading that Platies eat full grown Cherry Shrimp. Is that true? What a bummer. I guess I could go for Amano Shrimp since they're bigger.
