Aquarium Advice Regular
We purchased a CPR CS100 overflow, thinking this would allow us to use the full power of our pump - a RIO 14HF. This pump is rated at approx. 660 GPH at a 4' head.
If I'm understood, if the overflow box is too small, and you're using a larger pump, the tank will overflow, but if you're using a bit bigger overflow box, with a pump that is rated with a slower GPH than the overflow, you should be okay, correct?
Tank Size: 29 GAL Acrylic
Pump: 660 - 700 GPH
CPR Overflow: 800 GPH
Thanks in advance!
