Hi!

Just bought this at the hardware store.

PC Epoxy

There's an aquarium drawing on the top, says it cures underwater, the faq on the website says it's ok for reef use. But here what bugs me :

Is PC-11 Marine Grade paste safe to use in an established salt water reef aquarium? I need to bond some coral pieces to rock.

PC-11 will hold up to the salt water and once it cures, it is non-toxic.

What? While it cures everything dies! Or is it some way to defend themselves against pursuits?

Here is the technical data I found.

What do you think? I think it's ok, but that AFTER it cures thing scare me.

FYI, I called the company and Chuck told me that he knew people were using the product to glue coral underwater, and no one called back to say "Hey dude, your stuff is poison!'', and to please call him back if I have issues using the product this way. He assured me that it was perfectly safe once cured, but couldn't assure me that nothing would happen during the curing process which lasts a few hours. I'm not a gambler so I bought epoxy at the pet shop instead :p, and gave it to a friend who'll use it to glue base rock.
