ph question

I have a high ph in my tank and was wondering what thee best way to lower the ph is? I don't want to add any chemicals because I know it's bad to have fluctuating ph. is there s natural way to lower ph? my tap water is naturally basic.

Adding driftwood is a great way to lower pH.

What's your PH? Most times it's fine; fish will adapt as long as it's stable or unless you're keeping sensitive fish like Discus. Any specific reason why you want to lower it?

Not too sure about making your own driftwood as I've only purchased it my local LFS. Here's a good basic intro: Introduction to Adding Natural Decor to an Aquarium - Aquarium Advice. I like Malaysian and Mopani driftwood myself. I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds the searching/buying of driftwood somewhat addictive and exciting, as there's nothing quite like finding that one perfect piece...
