Thats my 29g FW setup I just finished with my first DIY background. Utilizing a Penguin150 (volume shrunk down to 20-21g). I need ideas for low light, no c02, no fert plants that would look best with small schooling tetras/equiv and corydoras. I have Tahitian moon sand as substrate. Pictured above are some floating fake plants from my existing 55g that were helping to cycle the new tank so disregard those. I have no LFS so I intend on ordering the plants online. Any help is appreciated.

I'd go with crypts personally. A few C. Crispulata in the back next to the stump and a couple smaller varieties up front. The Crispulata grows long crinkly leaves. Crypts won't obscure your awesome background and will grow in your current conditions.

just using some fake plants to get an idea how to fill the space.
