I literally just got done with my 70% water change, I'm so thankful that there is such thing as a aqueon/python water changer! Thanks for all the fantastic advice, I greatly appreciate it!

I just tested the water, here are the results:
ammonia: 0 ppm
nitrIte: 0 ppm
nitrAte: 20-30 ppm

Your parameters are good. I would suggest you try to keep the nitrates down under 20, but 20-30 is not exactly an outrageous number or anything.
