Came home tonight to find this thing on one of my sandstone pillars... It's got wings and just "swam" off the top of the rock... Looks like a grasshopper/dragonfly nymph (but not like anything I can find on Google images).

We have the following in the tank,

1x Male, 3x female and 1x fry guppies
5x Platies
7x Neon Tetras
4x Cherry Red Shrimps
an unknown number of snails... (abt 4)

Anubias on driftwood
Star Grass
Ambulia

Thanks!

At first I was thinking of a Damselfly but I am not seeing the Caudal gills. My next guess was the Dragonfly but I'm not really sure on this one. I'm hoping he was removed?
Oh! And welcome to AA!

Thanks butterfly_koi!

Checked out pictures of a Damselfly, and yes it definitely looked like one. It has been dispatched. Reading through the life cycle of one of these things means it was introduced when I procured the star grass through eBay.

Will keep an eye out for any of it's brothers or sisters...

Thanks for the welcome, just taking the hobby up again after my years.
