Prime question

If I start doing water changes using a sink to tank system like a python, should I dose prime for the entire size of the tank once it's filled back up?

I have a sump, so should I dose it directly into the sump or the tank?

I dose with the whole tank dosage prior to running the water back in. Straight into the tank and haven't had any issue so far.

The directions tell you to dose for the whole tank. That is what I do , only I add the prime gradually. I add about 1/3 of the necessary amount just before starting to refill, and then the other 2/3 one at a time as the tank fills. So far, so good.
