quarantined fish question

Got some red wags and some guppies in my 16 gallon bowfront qt tank. Cycled with some media from main tank. Anyway, these are brand new red wag platies, yet i see some black markings on top of a couple of them. Looks like black specks. What could this be?

Sounds like normal coloration to me, they will be stressed when they're new which is probably why you didn't see them originally.
