Rain water??

I'm posting a lot of random questions I know :-/

My question is does anyone use rain water in their tanks?? I only have fancy & endlers guppies in the tank I'm wanting to use rain water in, no live plants either. Our water here is crap.. So I am thinking the rain water may be beneficial??

If you have a safe method of collection it should be fine for the tank

Ita going to be lacking in buffering capabilities and nutrients. I would either skip the rain water or look at additives to remineralize it.
