Raising Juvie Apisto CACs

Any pointers or recommendations on food, water changes, and the like. I recently acquired a group of 5 for about $40 at the Colorado Aquarium Society fall auction. Im going to grow them out in a ten gallon bare bottom filtered with a large sponge filter. It looks like I have 3 males and 2 females all 1-1.5 inches. Any idea when these fish reach sexual maturity? Can't find anything about that online. Brookster Im looking forward to you advice as the king of Apistos! LOL Thanks for checking out my thread!

At that size you should be able to feed them small sinking pellets like NLS.

None of my A. cacatuoides ever spawned until the male was 2+ inches. I have only kept 3 groups of cacs though so not a huge sample set.
