Recommendations for 40gal

I've got a 40gallon (had it for over a year) but recently something killed my clowns and damsels I finally have it taken care of my tank has an emerald crab a horse shoe crab a spotted hawk fish and a yellow tails damsel I also have a small piece of pipe coral and a small branch coral please give me some pretty fish recommendations thanks guys

I was thinking a fu Manchu lion fish but wasn't sure of the requirements any ideas guys no fish thy are known to jump though

A lionfish will absolutely eat the other fish, and a fu Manchu is very tricky. If you decide to try a lion, go with a zebra or fuzzy.

The reason for wanting a fu Manchu is due to them needing a minimum of 30 gallons

Both fuzzy's and zebras work in a 40.

the horseshoe crab will most likely starve in a 40g
I myself would be iffy on a lion in 40g
are you looking for preditorial or just mellow fish

Well he seems to be very much alive in my tank as they eat worms and my tank is full of them and I'm looking for pretty, mellow fish. Somewhere between 20-30$
