I am currently slowly raising the SG of my dragon goby's tank.

I've been looking for a hydrometer, but I haven't found one that will give me a reading at the low end of the SG scale.

I've since been looking at the RHS-10ATC salinity refractometer which measures from 1.000 to 1.070 with a resolution of .001.

Anyone use this one or can recommend a better one.

Im not sure if this helps, but I have a hydrometer I got from a beer and wine making shop that measures SG from 0.990 to 1.170.

Also don't you need about 1.010 to 1.012 I thought? And the one DS rec. does read that low.

Most people like these and find them very accurate. For some odd reason, mine was a little off even when calibrated with distilled water.

I went to my favorite LFS and they calibrated it for me to there tank. I know it is accurate because they use a very expensive refrac. and they compared it with another refrac.
