Is crushed coral an acceptable substrate for my fuge? I only ask because I already have a DSB in my DT.

Why do you want substrate in your fuge? You don't need anything in there if you follow the lbs per gallon rule...and with a DSB you are going above and beyond. There is no need...and crushed coral is never a good idea as a rule of thumb.

Aside from filter sock, I have LR at my sump/fuge with macro floating on top. It might be a coincidence but after adding more LR in my tank I started to notice a crystal clear on my water.
