Man! I really love crayfish! Are there any that are community safe?

Nope I can't think of any community safe crayfish. I'm no specialist though. There's always an exception, so do a thorough research. How about some dwarf crayfish? I don't know much about them, but I can't imagine them catching a fish bigger than them.

If you have fast fish, then your fish have a less likely chance of being caught.

Yes..I have CPO's and cambarellus shufeldtii. Both of these dwarf crays are community safe.

Like safe with GBRs, CPDs, neons, ect? My fish are not gonna be huge that is why I am asking. Also will they destroy and uproot fake plants?

Yes you'll often see cambarellus patzcuarensis referred to as "CPO" and "dwarf patz".

They are safe with CPD's and neons but they are too small to share a tank with GBR's. I would think any ram would surely kill dwarf crays.

They are plant safe.

I am not getting the GBRs. To sensitive. What about a peaceful betta?

Yeah, they are super sensitive. A betta may work. I have removed a betta from a community before because I saw her stalking the crays. I've also had a couple other bettas with them that never bothered them at all. Depending on where you get your cray, it may be very small at the time of purchase. My CPO's were smaller than full grown cherry shrimp when I got them. If they are this small it is, of course, more dangerous to add them in with larger fish.
