I have six serpaes in my 30g community with neons, pristellas & rummys. I got a treat this morning while watching them. The serps all went into a frenzy. Went into a thicket of Hyrgrophilia Diff. & started swimming a quivering, bodies-touching "flash dance". The eggs stated falling, so tiny you could just see them. The other tetras saw them too and got below the frenzy and had a good nutritious breakfast. I've had many fish spawn over the years, but actually seeing the serpaes doing it was a real treat. Anybody else, please share your spawning eye-witnesses.
It makes us feel good when we see we're giving our fish good enough conditions to breed. LOL Now if I can just get my plants as happy. OS
