I recently stocked my 75 gal fw tank. I'm using an air pump with two air stones for medium size bubbles. I wanted to be sure there is enough oxygen in there. Should I use an air pump with cichlids? I faithfully do a water change every week and the tank is not over stocked. The fish are doing great except for one that is always hiding even at feeding time. I thought the bubbles might be scaring that fish.

What kind of filter are you using? Usually the surface agitation from a HOB or Canister filter creates enough gas exchange for proper oxygenation.

You should be fine. The fish will gasp at the surface and seem distressed if there isn't enough oxygen, just watch them.
