Shrimp

Will a fire shrimp attack my cleaner? I put a fire shrimp In my tank today and once he was comfortable he began chasing my cleaner I'm jus wondering if this could end badly or it it a territory thing in which case I see my cleaner being evicted from his spot and finding a new rock

It depends on tank size. Anything smaller than a 55 ive had no luck keeping both in the same tank. The fire shrimp ends up killing the cleaner shrimp. In a large tank ive had plenty of success keeping both types.

I have 4 cleaner shrimp & 3 fire shrimp in my 90. Everyone gets along fine.
