I have two silver dollars in my tank and today I observed then chasing and playing around the tank. It generally seemed to be the slightly larger one who I think is male who was doing the chasing.

Are they bored? I'm getting some more soon as I get my bigger tank.

The larger one is a female. A male usually is smaller and has some black coloring near the gills on both sides of the body. They usually mate when you change water more frequently and get the temp. to around 80/82 degrees. The male will then chase the female, corner her, line up his body right up against hers and will make fast movement with his tail, brushing it against the female.
