Starting a shrimp tank need help

So I'm going to stock my 20 gallon with different kinds of shrimp and I have a few question.

1. What are some moderately cheap shrimp. I want a variety of different shrimp. (I already have 2 Cherry Shrimp in there and I'm planning on getting more)

2. How many shrimp of each species should I have to get them to reproduce quickly.

3.what should I feed them. I have betta sinking pellets and bottom feeder algae wafers

Any help would be great thanks

Read up about the species of shrimps. Some of them will interbreed so you will lose your species.
