Aquarium Advice Regular
So I took the plunge and bought a Coralife T5 Quad Light for my tank (a 55g hex). I have a dsb, so its only 24" from water to sand bed, and don't plan on getting any sps corals.
But my question is: how in the world do I set the timers for this light??? It comes with 2 10,000K daylight, 2 "Actinic" and two lunar moonlights...all on separate power cords, which rock for versatility, but I have no idea how to run them!
Right now its mostly FOWLR, but I have one shroom, some Anthias corals and a couple of polyps (of unknown variety). I have a temporary fixture with three 23 watter CFLs I run for about 7 hours a day. So far the corals have lived for 5 mos, but not exactly thrived.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of which lights to run how long? All four t5s at once for 7-8 hours? Daylights, then all, then only actinics? Moonlights on all night or just a few hours? Does it matter?
Thanks for your help!
Chris
