My name is Frank and I'm located in beautiful Tampa, FL. I sold my 60 gallon Freshwater and moved into the world of saltwater. I purchased a used (like new)Red Sea Max 250 (66G) tank. Since it was an established tank I've been able to progress the cycling process. At this point dealing with elevated Nitrate levels (160 PPM).....but seem to have gotten it on right path through Partial Water Changes (PWC) of 40-50% of volume. Exposed Hermit crabs to tank this week and looking forth to adding snails and shrimp & a couple of Chromis to progress the cycling with livestock. 4 weeks in.....obsessed with hobby 
....but can tell you this isn't suited for your average Joe! This hobby takes alot of research and quickly finding out that each aquarist can offer variations on how to build out your tank. My early view is listen, read and make calculated decisions!
