Ten gal algae

I have a ten gal with one holding yellow lab in it and I'm starting to have an algae problem in it and I'm not sure what to do about it other than change the lightbulb maybe? Other suggestions??

Scrape it off, water change cut down your light cycle. Run your lights like 6 hours a day. Fish don't really need lights
