I tested my water this morning for ammonia nitrite and nitrates. But everything came back as 0??
0 ammonia
0 nitrites
0 nitrates

Is there something wrong here. Am I not suppose to have some nitrates?

I do only have a siamese fighter in it and a baby bristlenose pleco. So im thinkin maybe they dont cause enough ammonia for the filter to contine working?? The tank was cycled before I put them in.

I meant to add that those parameters would indicate your tank is not cycled or that you lost bacteria colony some how if it was cycled

Thats what I was thinkinng
Maybe the fact that I only have a small fish in a 15 gallon tank isnt creating enough ammonia

You should be seeing nitrates regardless if your bacterial colonies were established, if you know someone with a tank you could get some seeded filter media from them and add it to your filter.
