I just wanted to ask what would be the best product for testing the water.

Aquarium Water Testing: Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Freshwater Master Test Kit

Freshwater & Saltwater Aquarium Testing: Tetra EasyStrips Aquarium Test Strips

What would be the best route, liquid testing or testing strips.

Lot of ppl will recommend api master kit, thats what I got, test strip is not accurate, test strip is nearly same price as api and api says you can do 800+ test, you don't need to go that far even 200 test worth the money, where you get 20 strip for the same money. Once you get use to doesn't take long to test

As far as I know, most people on this forum, myself included, use the API Master Kit ( fresh and salt ) because it gives a better and accurate result.
I recently just switched from the testing strips to the master kit. The difference in the results were amazing, at least in my tank.
And one API Master kit will cost around $30-40 depending on where you purchase from, but you get over 800 tests in that kit. So long term, it's more cost effective and more accurate.
