Tiger barbs

Ok so i have two tiger barbs I'm in the process of removing from my tank as I also have angelfish. The problem is one of the barbs seems "fat". The colors also seem dull as compared to my other tiger barb. The red fins seem dull and almost colorless. What's going on with the little guy/gal?

The males are usually brighter if I am correct, and that angelfish will be nipped to death esepacialy with only two

Ok so it male and female. Good as long as nothing is wrong with her. They have been together for months with no nippage but I'm still taking them out. Thanks.
