Trichoderna?

Does my platy have this?he will swim around for awhile then clamp up and sink then spastically swim around and sink.I heard this is common in trichoderna.

Trichodina is a protozoa that attches itself to the skin of fish. The most common symptom is flashing (fish is itchy & will rub itself against gravel, objects to try to dislodge the source of irritation). It will also cause changes in the fish's slimecoat (increases) and skin (thickens). Do these symptoms describe your fish? How are your water parameters (amm/nitrite/nitrate)?
