Turning off filter during feeding

Is this okay to do? I know beneficial bacteria lives in the filter. Will turning it off for a minute kill them?

No it's fine, especially if your fish are having trouble getting all the food.

Same as above - even overnight off can be fine.

I turn mine off all the time for feeding or it shoots the food to the bottom of the tank.

Lol, that’s me - had to put everything on timers in the end
