I have a planted tank and now have brush algae and green spot algae. I have read the causes and what each solution is for them but am at a loss as to what I should do. I am running pressurized co2 and my lighting is 3x54w 65kK on a 72 gallon tank. I added some more plants today hoping to increase nutrient uptake. Don't want these to get out of hand.

I only added the seachem tabs for some of my plants when I got them. I cut the tabs in half for each plant. This was weeks ago. My co2 runs for 8 hours, it starts one hour before the lights come on and off one hour before lights go out. Lights are on for 8 hours too.

I think you need to start a fertilization program, CO2 and good light means your plants are growing and they need fuel. I would suggest doing some reading about the various methods and see what works for you.
