Using a dosing pump to acclimate fish...

I don't know why but i've struggled with drip acclimation. Not getting drip to continue, not getting a slow drip, tube falling off the tank. Just didn't work for me.

Then I remembered that I have dosing pumps that drip akl and cal into my tank.

I just took the "in" line out of the calcium bucket and put it in my sump. Then I turned the pump on, dripped all the calcium that was already in the line into the sump and when the pump was dripping sump water moved the "out line" to the acclimation bucket. A perfect, automatic, even steady drip!!!

Yup, electric drip acclimation anyone with a dosing pump can do this...
 
I use iv tubing for my drip acclimation. Easily controllable drip rate and if you care to do the math, you can easily figure out how long it will take to fill your container.

That and you can buy it for like $8
