Winter is coming and it's time to fire up a heater. I'm running a 150 mixed cichlid planted aquarium currently filtered by one 500gph & one 700gph cannisters.
I'm going to add a another 500gph filter with inline heater and inline UV. I need a pump to move water so I might as well buy a filter cannister as a pump.
Any suggestions or cautions? I'm already setting up to run an independent thermostatically controlled shutofff for the heater. No sense cooking fish that aren't big enough to make a meal.
