VHO bulbs

Can i use these bulbs in any standard fluorescent fixture?
Or do i simply go to Home depot and get a bigger ballast?

The bulbs are 75 watt and 110 watt i believe...

You need a VHO ballast. VHO bulbs operate at a higher frequency than NO bulbs. A VHO bulb in a NO ballast will simply output at or near standard NO bulb intensity.

They are exactly right, I did this on my first light fixture and for whatever reason it burned out the bulbs in less than a day. I've since learned a lot and know better now, lol

Thats even if it gets them to start.... The LFS in my area gave me VHO when I wanted NO and they would not light....
