Weird Creature in my tank...help

I have had my tank for about 5 months now and I have had a lot of success with my corals, I have a clown, rassie a zebra eel. The other day I was feeding my zebra eel a shrimp and a strange creature came out of a hole of my live rock. Freaked me out but wanted to identify. I thought it might be a mantis shrimp but haven't heard any noises or clicking from my tank. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a mantis shrimp. You will not necessarily hear clicking if its a small one.

Can't give you an answer just yet. A picture would help. Not sure how were saying it sounds like a mantis shrimp with no other information or a picture.

I'd like to help but need more to go on.

Sounds like a mantis shrimp. You will not necessarily hear clicking if its a small one.

I agree with con, just because there is a strange creature in your tank doesnt mean that its a mantis shrimp. In fact it is very very uncommon that mantis shrimps somehow end up in tanks. I would say out of every 300 hitchhiker threads on here only 1 is actually a mantis shrimp.
