What is the minimum size tank I can keep a copper banded butterfly fish in?

I have another question regarding protein skimmers. I have a new skimmer the make is eshopps and every time I turn it on It blasts bubbles. I have the valve wide open but it doesn't slow it down at all! The guy at my LFS said I need to let it season. Have you ever heard about that?

there is a break in period for skimmers.. I'm not sure what you mean by you have the valve wide open..? Try turning it down.. Skimmers need adjusting and only in certain circumstances would you need to run it 'wide open'

Depends on the skimmer.. Expect around a week give or take a couple days

Try and keep the bubbles around the neck. If they go below that, do a hairline adjustment ad give it a day and see where it's at

Be dead certain that copperband is eating prepared foods before buying. I have lost them to starvation as I don't keep live food around all the time.

Yep, I agree with Greg that they are expert only fish and in most cases, die of starvation.
