Yep green brittle star. I cut silversides into 4 pieces and feed mine 2 of them by hand. If I try to give him shrimp he takes it then just lets it float away, won't eat them. He will also eat sinking pellets

I've been really lucky with mine. Got it when it was small, it's really big now but never has eaten any fish. Been willing to take food from my hand since the beginning, and actually swats at the cleaner shrimp who always tries to get his food from him. My red (he's actually purple) serpent in my 125 on the other hand....he's eaten a good sized diamond goby and several small green chromis. The chromis go behind the rocks at night, right to the spot where the serpent spends a lot of time, and he gets them. Took me a while to figure out where they were vanishing to! He hasn't taken one for quite a while now, I've finally been getting him to reach arms out to take silverside bits and also sinking pellets.
