whats wrong with my pleco?

Hello here is a picture of my bristle nose which was in a tank that had white spot, what is this? Its too big to ne white spot right?



It might be hard to see but looks like some of his skin is missng, my other bristle noses has simular patchs missing?

I would like to know what it is as I have some exspensive fish and dont want them to get ill
