whats wrong with rainbow shark???

whats wrong with my rainbow shark i got him 3 days ago and i did a water change yesterday. he is just hanging out by the surface and sometime his body is completely upright. also i havent seen him eat at all yet i feed my fish 4 foods which are flakes,granules,algea wafers,and wafers for cories .please help thanks also he looks like he has a cut near his mouth so im not sure if my ram nipped him or not.my rams peaceful except during feeding time he gets a little agressive.

Does sometimes kinda lose balance is so his air bladder might of popped and he will probably die my juli catfish had that problem

Can we help you with your tank? It sounds like there might be a deeper issue we can sort out.

No I don't think there's anything wrong with my tank all my other fish are fine.when I saw the shark at the store I thought something was wrong with it but I wasn't sure so I bought it anyway.I guess next time I have to check the fish better.I tested the tank and pH 7 ammonia 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 and temp is 80 so I think it was most likely sick when I bought it
