Why is my water so cloudy?

I have a 10 gallon guppy tank, that's been getting super cloudy lately. And a lot more of algae has grown, and I don't know why. It's not over stocked, and I have a few snails in there. Last week my guppies had started getting these red bumps/sores on them, so I created a topic in 'unhealthy fish' and I've been told to get the medicine 'melafix' I'm pretty sure it's called (picture below.) the medicine cleared the sores right up, but now my water is cloudy. I've been Doing my usual water changes, once every 2-3 days. How can I get my water back to normal?

What size water changes are you doing?

I usually do 10-20%

Do a 50% change today, wait an hour, then do another one.

Do you have a test kit and have you tested your water lately?

Yea I do and yes I tested it everything is perfect.

What kind of filter are you using?
What type of maintenance and how often (on the filter)?
How long has the tank been setup?
What type and how many fish are present?
How often and what do you feed them?
