Angel fish stocking

I have a 60 gallon aquarium and I am wondering what would be the appropriate amount of angel fish I can keep in it. Sources online seem to have different answers. The guy at my LFS said to put as many as I want which clearly isn't correct lol I currently have 4 half dollar size angels. I am looking to add more if possible.

I have 3 in my 56 gallon that seem to be getting on pretty well. I think you are fine with up to probably 5/6 depending on the dimensions of your tank. The problem with angels is they turn into monsters once they pair off. As long as you don't get any pairs, I would say 6.

I have a very tall tank. It's narrow and 24 inches tall. I don't have any pairs yet. Thank you for the advice!
