Hi, my cichlids are not yet pregnant but I want to be ready for when they do. I have recently bought a box (guppy tank) which has holes in it and floats thought the holes are pretty small and I thought I would be able to use it for my future cichlid fry, would I be able to put it in the same tank as what my current cichlids are?. And also what do I feed the fry? I have floating cichlid pellets and would some of those crushed up work? And also is it fine to put fry from two different cichlids together? Thanks

The box would need to be maybe a little bigger than needle size holes. The fry are really small at first. You can keep it in the main tank as long as the adults can't get into it.

For food I just crush up flake food. I use the veggie flakes omega one makes.
