Why does my blood parrot look so different that all the other parrots I see . I know he is not a jellybean one, what is he. He is very large to

I can't believe how big he is . The female looks just like him and I google him and can't find others that look like him .

Blood Parrots actually get quite large in length and depth. I think the reason you haven't seen some like yours is because A: Your fish seem to be fairly mature and allot of pictures you see are of younger fish and B: They are hybrids so every strain will be different and certain genes from the parent fish can be stronger in one strain vs the other.

Yeah I guess I don't remember them having those little pointy faces, when they were younger ! Good call
