hey i am new to this. in my 30 gallon tank i have lava rock in it every morning i wake up and there is red stuff it looks like rust, i was wondering if this is just normal or is it because of something else like filteration or something

did you rinse off the rock before putting it in your tank?

it looks like rust i rinsed them but it is not just a few spots everyday like half the tank is full of it
