Juvy cichlids

I have a beautiful purple cichlid, about 3 months old. Last nite I was looking in the tank, as usual and noticed that suddenly it changed color, it was now purple, with black vertical stripes and yellow fins. Is this normal? In the morning the stripes were still there but not as predominant. LOL at first I thought somehow a fish I hadn't purchased had landed up in the tank.

Ooooohhh, an Ice Blue. Or a Male Red top Cobalt. Does it look like either one of those?

The redtop cobalt looks a lot like it.

That's what it struck me as. Beautiful fish.
